Freckles is an Aru-type that was captive born and bred from import Aru-type adults in 2003 at the Denver Zoo, CO. She came to me, along with her brother Fleck, via Rico Walder and takes a special place in my collection. She has more yellow than white scales that are typical of an Aru but of particular note are the black scales along her neck and scattered down her body. The future is bright for this young female.
Freckles' sire and dam are on display at the Denver Zoo and thanks to Dan McCrary, I have the following photo of them to show the potential behind this young female.
