For the love of chondros

Biak-type Chondros

Biak Island is an isolated island off the Northern coast of Irian Jaya. The chondros that come from this area are well known for their large size, blotched yellow and green appearance, prolonged ontogenic change, and fiery temperament.

Biak's typically have yellow on their jowly heads (usually even outcrosses have yellow between their eyes), dragon-like snouts, flared nostrils, and long, pointed tails.

Biaks are well liked for crossing with other chondro morphs to produce some amazing looking offspring. High yellow Biaks are a prized possession that, unlike other high yellow morphs, typically come from maroon offspring.
